The Elite Asteroid series is designed for bowlers
that are developing a hook. Compared to Plastic, Reactive coverstock technology
increases traction and hooking action in the oil, and Reactive coverstocks
can be sanded or shined to create large differences in hook potential. Reactive
coverstocks also respond more aggressively to dry lane surfaces than Urethane
coverstocks, increasing backend hooking action and hitting power.

Good entry level

I'm just getting started in bowling and I was told to get an entry level reactive ball. Since I'm partial to blue I chose the Elite Asteroid. Very glad that I did. My average went from 105 to 120 in no time. Now I'm thinking about getting an upgrade. It'll have to be blue though.
